Seminyak is close to us and well inside the 20 km free delivery radius, so we bring the bike to
\nyour villa or hotel at no extra cost. It is also one of our regular pickup points, along with
\nneighbouring Legian and Kuta.<\/p>\n
Seminyak is town riding: short distances, dense traffic, plenty of stopping and starting along
\nJalan Kayu Aya and the roads down to the beach. An automatic scooter is the practical choice, and
\na 155cc automatic is comfortable enough for two.<\/p>\n
If you plan to use Seminyak as a base and ride out \u2014 to Uluwatu in the south, up the coast past
\nCanggu, or across to the east \u2014 a 250cc or larger bike makes those trips considerably less tiring.
\nOur fleet runs up to 900cc for riders who want the bigger machines and have the experience for them.<\/p>\n
Parking in Seminyak is metered or attended in most of the busy streets; scooters are easy to
\nplace, larger bikes less so. The one-way system around Jalan Raya Seminyak catches people out \u2014
\nfollow the traffic rather than the map. Police checks are common on the main roads through Kuta and
\nLegian, so carry your International Driving Permit and wear the helmet.<\/p>\n
Rates are the same wherever you ride from \u2014 we do not charge a premium for Seminyak.
\nScooters and 155cc automatics start around 200,000 IDR per day. Mid-range bikes between
\n230cc and 500cc run roughly 300,000 to 600,000 IDR. Large-capacity machines \u2014 650cc cruisers,
\n900cc nakeds \u2014 start from about 1,000,000 IDR and reach 2,500,000 IDR for the top of the fleet.<\/p>\n
The minimum rental is three days \u2014 a one- or two-day hire is charged at the three-day rate
\nanyway, so you may as well keep the bike. From there the daily price drops at 7, 15 and 30 days.
\nIf you are staying a fortnight, booking the whole period at once is noticeably cheaper than two
\nshort rentals.<\/p>\n
Every rental includes a helmet. Insurance is an optional add-on rather than part of the base
\nrate, and we recommend it on anything above 250cc. A refundable deposit starts at 2,000,000 IDR
\nand rises with the value of the bike. To ride legally you need an International Driving Permit
\nendorsed for motorcycles.<\/p>\n
